Urban Walk along Pigeon Creek

Saturday April 20, join Transition Port Gardner and the Sierra Club for an Urban Walk along Pigeon Creek Trail to see the bluffs that are sliding onto the railroad tracks.

Meet at the Forgotten Creek Natural Area’s lower entrance, on the south end of Bond St. where the road dead ends at the BNSF railroad tracks across the street from the Depot Park garden.

View the fragile bluffs along Puget Sound that border the train tracks.Typically there have been a dozen slides a year – this year there have been 78 slides. The Pigeon Creek Access Trail gives an excellent view of the bluffs and where the slides have been.

I'll try to make it come rain or shin. But I usually don't get up until 11 am as I stay up late working on my book. But I need to get our and work my fat ass-muscles.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
