Organize to Take ACTION for the Mandatory Labeling of GMO's in Colorado!

This is an exciting and life changing campaign that you have an opportunity to be a part of!
We are now at the stage of organizing to take action to gather the approximately 170,000 signatures needed to get this initiative on the ballot for 2014.
We are operating under a "we will win" philosophy and believe that we Coloradans are the right people and have what it takes to make this happen.
We have a strong steering committee and now need members and volunteers to take on various roles and prepare for action.
See you at the meetup!

I am trying to figure out how any state thinks it will win against the millions of dollars that Monsanto et al. will gladly contribute to win against such efforts. Even Jeffrey Smith thinks the best way to win this war is to only buy organic or from a local food grower. Corporations will only change when they see the market place change...and not before. Monsanto and their evil cronies have more money than god and they will use it...we need a new and more clever strategy.

Money is one of the major contributing factors to what dictates the market place, but so is education, community, and positive thinking. None of these factors can be underestimated. By voting to label GMOs we are also educating more and more people so that they have a choice to choose between GMO and non-GMO. Since the "lost" campaigns in California and Washington its brought greater awareness to the community and has brought people together. We need to keep this positive momentum!
