Many of you have asked for a mid week time to come out to the village and help out so here it is. In case you don't know the TTEV will host the T Rex Museum Expedition Camp this June and July where hundreds of kids and families get to join in on a real Expedition to Outer Mongolia, or at least our version of it. We are reconstructing the American Museum of Natural History's 1920's Gobi Desert Dinosaur Expeditions to Mongolia where children of all ages can dig for fossils, pan for treasures, break geodes, prepare their own fossil fish, and dig for gemstones at our magic mountain... and take home much of what they find. It is very fun recreating this camp and it includes a reconstructed rainforest inside our trailer with real and faux fossils, realistic murals, and real digging sites around the village including a Triceratops skull replica, full sized and scarey Raptor, Baby T Rex "Rexie" and a 40 foot female Tarbosaurus (Asian T Rex) sculpture. It is fun and the revenue will go directly to supporting the villages projects. We will make sure to talk to everyone about extinction and sustainability and how what happened then is happening to our world right now along with showing how we can help that to not happen today. Just show up and prepare to have fun helping us set up this temporary showpiece.
