Welcome to the Suwanee Yoga Club!
We practice an energetic form of yoga that includes a continuous sequence of postures that are linked to one another through synchronization of the breath. It is a deep and active practice that realigns the body, steadies the mind, and builds strength and a sense of inner peace. It develops concentration, reduces stress, and eventually brings a wonderful sense of tranquility to the mind. Students progress at their own pace. Classes are open to all levels, and beginners are welcome.
Where at the park? We meet at the Suwanee Town Center Park in the upper right-hand corner by the Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road Entrance, next to the tall stone monument to Suwanee parks system.
The Atlanta Yoga Club was created to offer people of all levels a cost effective form of Yoga practice led by area yoga instructors from various studios! In addition, as yoga is about healthy living, relaxation, and meditation (in addition to great exercise) we'll hold many classes in the most natural setting...the great outdoors! Most classes will be held at Suwanee Town Center Park in addition to other Parks around Atlanta! We offer many different styles of yoga and in the future will also offer other forms of practice including Pilates, Dance, & Martial Arts. The cost is only $5 per class!
