I teach in the Svaroopa® sytle yoga is gentle and easy to do. It reliably releases tension throughout your body and creates a feeling of calmness and well-being. It is particularly suitable for people who's bodies may be a bit stiff or out of shape.
Practicing yoga even as little as once a week, will give you:
• Longer, more flexible muscles.
• More energy available on a daily basis.
• Sharper mental focus.
• Better balance and reduced risk of falls and injuries.
• A stronger immune system.
• Lower blood pressure and resting heart rate.
Hi, I’m Barbara Thompson, and I invite you to come to a class so you can feel the difference yoga makes in your own body.
I'll guide you through a gentle yoga routine that you can do at home in a few minutes a day. The poses are not difficult to do, but they are very EFFECTIVE. You do not have to be fit to attend this class. You just need to have a desire to improve your health, and a willingness to let go of chronic aches and pains.
On Wednesdays I teach an ongoing class from 6pm-7:30pm. (Space is limited so you'll need to reserve in advance.)
I also give monthly workshops and retreats to help you deepen your practice and understand key concepts. You can check things out at www.SkyRidgeRanch.net if you wish.
