The cuisine of Kerala comprises of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian spicy dishes.Coconut is an essential ingredient in most of the food items and is liberally used.
In Kerala meals are mostly served with boiled rice and a host of side-dishes and followed by payasam, a sweet milk dessert native to Kerala. Some dishes are namely sambar, aviyal, kaalan, theeyal, thoran, injipully, pulisherry, appam , kappa (tapioca), puttu (steam cake), and puzhukku.
Kerala Kitchen is a small mess hall that has been one of my favorites for sometime now. If you love Kerala cuisine its a nice place to visit both for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
They serve beef and fish too along with chicken and vegetarian dishes and is buffet system. If you have never tried this cuisine, come over!
P.S. If you are ambience conscious then this is not a place for you. In very simple words, its like a regular mess hall in hostels back in India but serves very delicious food.
Dress: Casual and loose as you will definitely end up eating a lot ... lol
