Fitness and for Fun, this is a dynamic group of people who wish to work out together to lose weight, meet new people with the same mindset. fitness and positive thinking!
The main reason for this group is to develop and sustain balance in our lives through fun , fitness and health. I have been involved in many meetups and found that by working together as a group provided me with energy and commitment that I wouldn't get exercising in a gym. If you love working with a "Dynamic" team to gain results then you know the real meaning of teamwork.
The purpose of the group is to motivate each other to lose weight and keep on our targets. Also have fun and meet others who believe survival and health is on their highest priority list. Who should join Walkers who want to lose weight, feel fantastic about themselves.
Our walks are usually around Inner City and Eastern Suburbs. The more hills we climb the fitter we become. There is no age limit but the participant must be able to power walk at a reasonable pace to burn those unwanted calories . However to get to this standard our beginners social walk on Mondays is available to increase strength and stamina.
Our power walking sessions are held on WEDNESDAY nights at 7pm start. Everyone is welcome and it is totally free!
This meetup group is community based and "everyone EXORCISES, walks at their own risk". please note your acceptance for membership will depend on how you answer the prompted questionnaire especially Q4 where you accept all liabilities and self responsibilities for walking or exercising with this group. All members walk or exercise at their own risk!
