Phalcon, PHP5.5 and updates on Code Competitions, Code Retreats plus Open Mic

Hi folks, we're looking forward to seeing those of you who can make it along this month.

A busy month all around so probably a good time to catch up and hear about some things you may have missed.

Some cool things are happening in the local web development community so there are lots of opportunities to get involved.

Hope to see you there!

All the best,

SydPHP Organisers

I would like to Thank Dave and all for a good night, it was good to get out and seen what is going on.

I have quite a bit of php exposure and will be looking into the frameworks, prehaps codeigniter or Phalcon that was mentioned on the n ight. I have an extensive background in software development and database roles, I do alot of work with MSSQL at the moment, alot of stored procedures and complex business processes, etc. I also do quite a few sql server moves and upgrades, etc and a bit of break fix work on broken systems.

Please let me know if you have any opportunities that you would like to discuss.

    Email me via [masked].

    Thanks, Richard

Thanks everyone for last night. I really enjoyed meeting you all and look forward to seeing you again at your next session.

As I mentioned to a few of you on the night, I am starting an online subscription based business with a real time chat Q&A engine at its core. I am on a quest to find a technical partner/co-founder to help bring this to life, so if any of you have some interest in finding out more, or if you know a builder-type who might be interested, please let me know. My email is: [masked]

Thanks again, look forward to seeing you all at the next meetup.
