At the usual place it has been for at least a decade, aptly named Crystal Palace, but we have been discussing a new meetup location for the past few months, which has better facilities such as power, wi-fi and tables for laptops and electronics.

Full details available on the 2600 Australia website:

Current projects and ongoing discussions:

- Mobile Phone Security & Privacy

- Decentralised Mesh Networks

- 3D Printing

- Drones, balloons & other UAVs

We almost changed the location again this month!

We have 2 confirmed venues that may host our meets in the future, scouted 2 weeks ago between a couple of us. We really need some consistency on RSVPing and also to have a chat at the meet (since the large portion of hackers are not on

The venues will have desk/table/bench space so that we can bring laptops and other gear, so if you can come tonight to confirm the details it would be great.

Additionally, don't forget to bring your pub key/signature/some i.d. to verify your keys and join in on the 2600-crypto maillist. Seeya soon!

How many people do you get at a meeting

It varies wildly. Some months we get 30+ the next month we get 5 people. On average, I'd say we get about 10 or so dropping in at various points throughout the night.
