Egyptian superstar to headline first-ever Arab Music Festival.

He's the best-selling Arab recording artist of all time and has been labelled the Father of Mediterranean music, and now the legendary Amr Diab will feature in ANZ Stadium's first-ever Arab Music Fest on Saturday 2 February 2013.

With an illustrious 20-year career, Diab reigns as the contemporary face of Egyptian el-geel pop music and continues to take top billing at music festivals around the globe, selling out performances to over 80,000 fans.

The Egyptian heartthrob has also taken the western world by storm, appearing in Pepsi commercials alongside the likes of American pop icons j-Lo and Beyonce and has been awarded the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist three times.

Featuring a 5 hour program of music and dance acts featuring local and international representatives of Sydney's vibrant Middle Eastern Community, the Arab Music Fest is destined to become an annual celebration in Sydney's multi cultural calendar.
