The 4th Annual Creative Sydney Debate.

LAWRENCE GIBBONS, Group Publisher Alternative Media Group of Australia for the past 11 years. The Alternative Media Group of Australia,, City Hub, City News, The Inner West Independent & Bondi View. AltMedia is one of the few independent newspaper companies to publish local news and information in Sydney. Prior to this Lawrence was the Publisher of the Fairfield County Weekly in Connecticut USA from [masked], where he oversaw the rebranding of the former Fairfield County Advocate and expanded the publication's circulation into Westchester County, New York. And from 1986 to 1992 Lawrence was the Advertising Director of the San Francisco Bay Guardian, where he oversaw advertising in one of the largest independent weekly papers in the world, taking the publication from 44 to 120 pages per week and overseeing circulation growth from 60,000 to over 120,000 copies per week.


MOSHE ROSENZVEIG, Director of Head On Photo Festival.

Australia’s biggest photo festival and the second largest in the world. The festival features more than 200 exhibitions and events in 100 venues throughout Sydney metro attracting over 600,000 visits through the month of May/June. It receives extensive media coverage internationally. Moshe has over 30 year experience in the media as a photojournalist, award winning television producer/director, educator and commercial photographer. He 
works regularly as a producer/ director for SBS TV. He's also been lecturer in photojournalism at UTS for more than 7 years, and previously at University of Notre Dame and The University of Western Sydney and the AFTRS.
