Meetup at Fishburners (Level 1, 608 Harris St., Ultimo).

Hello Sydney Ed Tech'rs,

I am very excited to announce next weeks event for the Sydney Education Technology meetup.

It is BIG. It is BOLD. And it will change the education technology landscape in Sydney forever.

Mick Liubinskas will be running a 2 hour workshop session on "Transforming Sydney into a world leading city for education technology by 2020". The workshop will be highly interactive and we as a group will come up with goals to achieve this vision and real actionable steps to achieve those goals.

Don't miss this opportunity to get involved in the core working group of this hugely ambitious project that will transform the Ed Tech landscape in Australia going forward. If you are an entrepreneur, educator, investor, student or someone who is currently working on an education project or even thinking of jumping into the education space, you NEED to attend this workshop.

About Mick:

Mick, also known as Mr. Focus in the tech world is a Co-founder at Pollenizer. Mick has worked on businesses like Spreets, Dealised, 99Dresses, Coachy, Carmates and Booking Angel. He is passionate about education and was involved in several education related projects including youth connections for school kids in Tanzania.

Make sure you mark your calendars and RSVP ASAP. There will be FREE beer and pizza and many giveaways and door prizes. The event kicks off at 6 PM on Tuesday 3rd Sept.

I hope to see you all at the meetup.

Cheers,

Atul.

I'm putting together a follow up email from last night's meetup. Will send it to the entire group shortly along with the spreadsheet with action items and owners. Mick was excellent as usual. It was great to see so many members volunteer to collectively make a difference in the Ed Tech space.

An excellent meetup. Atul will, I am sure, post the "visual" results, which were excellent. A bunch of people signed up to do specific things within the next year,to meet this spec.. So, hopefully, we can see the commitments and fruits of our work! Well done Atul and Mick!
