Jam Session #45

  • This location is shown only to members

Regular jam session open to all jammers.

Drummer: Bryan OConnor

Bass: John Hussey

Over the last month or so we had a quite a number of late cancelations by jammers (few hours before the session). Earlier this year we discussed what to do about them but did not take any action as somehow late cancelations stopped for no reason ! :-)

From now on if you cancel your RSVP on a short notice you'll end up in our "naughty corner" file :-)

Not a big deal you might say ?

Wait, there is more....

Once you are in this file, next session you attend you'll count for two and you'll pay two fees.

E.g. Session is open to 9 jammers, and 9 including yourself attend total fee is split to 10 and you pay 2 shares. Once this is done you are off the "naughty corner" file.

Here is the link to the file:

Fair ? You tell me and feel free to comment on it.

Anyway, back to usual session stuff.

If you are newbie take some time and read other info:

Refer to for our information pages and discussion board for technical and other details:

Again, if you are attending the session for the first time and you are not sure about the gear, setup, read the above first and then your questions to discussion board and someone will answer, or if all fails send us an email.

PS.  Here's the link to the song list spreadsheet!

Hi Kim, been thinking about some new songs and added Domino, thought you'd like a go at it. Pretty strong vocals. But if not we can scratch it.

I can do that. Or someone else can. Either way!

I added another song by Gear Daddies (the guys from the Little Red Corvette cover). I know it's late, but it's dead simple. The link to them playing it on Letterman is there, as are the chords and lyrics, and I've uploaded the MP3 to my download site.

Guys, I'm sad to say that I cannot come - another birthday... Have fun, I am looking forward to the next session!

I used to pull the chords off the version of a song from YouTube (Bad Reputation - Halfcocked version). I haven't done that before, so I'm not sure if they're right. Can someone who knows what they're looking at verify they're okay?

Basically, it's the same as Joan Jett, but slightly lower.
