This year we are trying to make the Sydney Scrum User Group more self sustaining / organising. Luckily Meetup can help us.
On the meetup page you will notice several tabs, the key one here is the 'SUGGESTED' tab. This list all the ideas that people are interested in but they aren't announced (email sent to all members) so you have to come to the site and look at them.
They stay on this tab until at least 3 people have indicated that they would like to attend, then they move on to the "UPCOMING" tab. Once an idea gets on the upcoming tab it is announced and once an idea is getting a good list of attendees then we can look at running the session.
But first we need your ideas, so if you have one quickly follow the steps below.
If you have an idea follow these steps.
If you go to the meetup page you will at the top a link to suggest a new meetup
So if you have any ideas for a meetup click on there and fill in some quick details. You don't necessarily have to be willing to run the session it can just be something you want to try/discuss etc, if we get enough interest in the idea then we will look for someone to run the session if you dont want to do it.
