Sydney City Skywatchers is a group of amateur astronomers that have been meeting since 1895. we meet once a month at Sydney Observatory to discuss astronomy, listen to a talk from an astronomer or do some real astronomy. We have a small cover charge of $2 for coffee/tea and nibbles and would request that you join as a full member after a few meetings. We meet on the 1st Monday of the month at 6:30pm.
We were founded in December 1894 - well before Meetup and even before the InterNet - in the duas when you had to meet face-to-face.
