Want to be a Socrates Cafe Facilitator?

Socrates Cafe is getting bigger - and to ensure that the facilitated discussions continue to be a good experience for all, we need more facilitators to cope with the numbers!

What does a facilitator do? When we split into groups for discussion, the facilitor's job is to keep the conversation going and on track - and also to ensure that the discussion stays in the spirit of Socrates Cafe. You don't need to be a trained philosopher - it's more about leadership / facilitation skills and understanding the point of our group.

If you're interested in being a facilitator, please come along for brunch this Sunday November 8 at 11:00am to get trained-up! (Apologies for the late notice...)

Getting there:
Trains run to Summer Hill on the Inner West line (from the city and Strathfield-direction) every fifteen minutes. Summer Hill is about seven minutes further than Newtown if you're coming from the city. There's parking in nearby streets as well if trains aren't to your liking.
