Thanks y'all for the praise, the patience and the pitching-in. Deadly Treadly for replicating my trail in the first 5k, Dingo for the bottomless bucket, several others for the swift cleanup so we could all make the ferry. It was great to see so many new faces and a few returnees as well who had faith in this ride's success (suckers!) and even some potential late recruits on the ferry back to Circular Quay. Cleanas Q*ntas reported no zoo animals took offence to our singing about them. I also heard the pub is changing the name of Aurora Borealis to Aurora Australis because everybody who drank that 14.9% brew went south quickly.

Thanks everyone for a great ride to the zoo and drinks afterward. It was a lot of fun! I'm really impressed by the friendly characters I met, I felt very welcome (and a bit drunk). I look forward to seeing you all at furture hash-ups.
Until next time - on, on - down, down - etc etc !

The Pipster and I wreckied the 3rd analversary trail this afternoon and can say it'll be a mixture of city & country, the heavenly and the heinous, and plenty of water views from high places. If you think this is last year's trail, you're mistaken; we didn't do this ride last year. But it's not the 2011 or 2010 route either. Not even close. We did our best to avoid the dreaded stairs, curbs, markets, and yes, PUBS! But save it for Harts, where you'll really want to have a beer or four. And that bucket with a view beforehand.
