Thanks for the prompt Andrew!

I have had a chat with Wallace Thornhill (the author of "The Electric Universe") and he would like to come to a meeting to talk about the "The Future of Science" and my suggestion "The EU as it might relate to expansion of information and intelligence into the rest of the Universe".  I have put him down for the next meeting but if it turns out that it is more convenient for a later meeting we will update the dates here as appropriate.

Controversial topic but with some lively, intelligent and probing questions!

Very interesting talk. This was my first Futurology meet, and it certainly won't be my last, God willing... I am not a scientist, so I can only judge second hand on the veracity of the claims being made by Wal. But I have read numerous times that Einstein's work has been tested many times since the 1920s, and with increasingly sophisticated equipment, and it has passed every one with flying colours. I have read that the clocks run slower at the top of skyscrapers and on fast places, and that time slows down for particles accelerated in the Large Hadron Collider. I didn't think Wal really explained how this was not the case at all. But I stand to be corrected, and educated (further).

See my web page 'A Real 'Theory of Everything' for some initial clues to the impact of the Electric Universe on our future. http://www.holoscience.com/news.php?article=gdaqg8df

    Myles,

Excuse my shorthand - "EU" being "Electric Universe" not the aforementioned economic unit . . Phil.
