Have you seen the latest info about fecal transplants? I think it will be used more and more widely this year for a range of bowel conditions. http://scienceblogs.com/thepumphandle/2013/01/17/clinical-trial-of-fecal-transplant-gets-impressive-results-synthetic-poop-is-in-the-works-2/

Great idea, well done for organising, but I've already signed up with them. Can't wait for the results. (The link isn't working btw.)

Here is the jet lag cure I mentioned that works really well for me. I had tried everything and I suffered from really bad jet lag over the years: Main thing

    1. Before your first breakfast in the new time zone, do not eat or consume any calories for 10-12 hours. Then have a hearty breakfast. This resets your body clock more or less instantly. One of the key things your body uses to know when it is night versus day is that you do not eat at night. Other things that help jet lag in particular:

Consider melatonin to ensure you sleep when you want to, Cool room at night, bright lights in the day and not at night, do not snack at night.

+ all the usual things that help you sleep (limit caffeine, alcohol...). Tim Josling

Dave asprey found a grounding mat or barefoot yoga in the park helped his jet lag. I have no idea and don't fly much. Just passing on what I heard in his podcast with a sleep expert.

Hey, a couple of us were talking about blue blocker glasses after the meetup. Here is a link to a facebook thread where Mike and I were talking about them. Go check it out, there is some useful info there:

Good presentation folks. Thanks for info.
As discussed I can probably ask the local heartmath peeps to come in for a talk.
Also think this group seems to have scope for a doctors vs citizen health debate at some stage. :-)

Btw, if anyone is looking at hacking their behaviour in relationships, check out my part-time business www.thinkactrelate.com. Having a framework to quantify your behaviour is very, very helpful. :)
