We have a small Sangha that meets every Sunday from 4:30 until 6.  The general orientation is around Vipassana meditation.  We sit to develop mindfulness -- a skilled understanding and orientation to the present moment.  Following the Vipassana tradition, meditations focus on the breath, the body, compassionate awareness, and gradually, on the nature and emptiness of mind.

We generally sit for about 40 minutes and walk for another 20.  For those with time, we will discuss our experiences in the meditation and, when there is particular interest, the content of a Dharma talk that has been sent out beforehand.
