I also am closer to Liverpool and am available most days from noon on. if morning it would need to be pretty early that would definitely be better in Liverpool for me.
as far as the Dharma discussion, if we could have the reading or podcast information at least a week or more ahead we might be able to fit listening or reading into our schedule.

I'd like to thank everyone who sent comments on how to improve our group attendance as well as making the group more relevant to each person's goals. We obviously have some limitations about changes (e.g. the $5 donation is to pay for use of the building -- it doesn't go to us). However, I can propose the following, taking into account the various comments:
- We change the meeting time from 4:30 to 5 pm on Sundays, giving people a bit more time to enjoy the (hopefully) good weather. I suggest that we make this change starting the first weekend in May.
- The after-sitting tea will be primarily for talking about experiences with meditation and socializing. We will avoid making this into a discussion of formal Dharma.
- For those who want a more formal discussion of Dharma, I would like to propose a separate meeting, perhaps once a month, where we will choose a subject and reading and concentrate on that. This will allow those who want to go into more technical issues of Dharma to meet while allowing the group as a whole to focus on sitting. Please contact me if you'd like to participate in such a group.
- If there is interest, we can arrange a morning sitting during the week. We can usually get the Center between 7:30 and 8:30.
I know that many of you find the meeting time to be a problem. I have no difficulties about changing the time, but we will have to change the venue. We are basically using Upstate Yoga during one of their few non-teaching periods. I would be happy to host the group in my home, but I know that many were not happy with this possibility. I can make a meeting room available at my office in Liverpool, but that may not be so convenient for many of you. Please, make suggestions if you have an alternative.
My goal in forming this Sangha was to have a regular group which would sit together weekly. Whatever you can suggest that will permit us to have a weekly sitting with reasonably regular attendance will be gratefully received.
