Meetup and learn about ONEIDA Lake, the other O lake so important in our region.

James "Randy" Jackson, Associate Director of the Cornell Biological Field Station will speak about Oneida Lake from pre-settlement time to current issues with invasive species, fisheries and the impacts of climate change.  Yes, there is another "O" lake we need to help.

Bring your questions for answers.

excellent presentation of both the history and now. One of the best visual and spoken events in our series.

Randy Jackson gave an excellent overview of the history of Oneida Lake. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of fishing and the changes we are seeing in the species of fish in the lake.
