Hello everyone on the Syracuse Sierra Club list,
As many of you know the national Sierra Club is cooperating with 350.org to promote a day of climate action on 10/10/10. In Syracuse we are organizing a Bike Parade. We will meet at the Syracuse Real Food Co-op on the 10th at 10am, and we will ride together spreading the news about global warming and global warming solutions. We will bring together a number of different organizations, as well as students from the different colleges and universities, so that we can better join forces to address global warming locally. There will be prizes for costumes: best costume (child and adult), best bike costume, most informative, and most inspirational. Our grand finale destination will likely be hosted by SU's cetner of excellence. For more information, please contact me or see the 350.org website.
Martha, if you would post this event of the meet-up site, that would be great.
Thanks!
Diane Williamson
