"Great Garbo was Hollywood's first leading lady with the most alluring eyes ever captured as seen in the competing portraits of her by noted photographers C.S. Bull and George Hurrell, with just her face and gaze she defined Hollywood glamour and immortalized an era," according to the Andrew Weiss Gallery who will be displaying some rare vintage Garbo photos in a special exhibition and silent auction for this evening.

One particularly memorable event was a roofgarden winetasting at the historic Hollywood Tower apartment building (on Franklin Avenue near Argyle and the Hollywood Freeway) which is not usually open to the public.
