The Petrified Forest. Bette Davis is a particular favorite of mine, and I always love to see her play the nice girl for a change. Throw in a very strange Leslie Howard character, a star-making turn from Bogie, and the always hilarious Charlie Grapewin, and you got one of my all-time favorites. It's tough, verbose, romantic, and a bit whimsical. My other favorites are Casablanca, In This Our Life, M, Faust, anything Capra, anything Ford...
Used to be three days a week (at least), but since I lost my cable over six months ago...I'm down to ZERO.
5 or 6 times, I would surmise.
I acknowledge this. It's only the sensible and respectful thing to do. Good policy, in my humble opinion.
