Welcome to The Twin Cities Eclectic Singles. We’re excited to have you as members! This group is for singles of all ages looking to meet other singles at interesting events. Each event will allow singles in similar age groups to mingle and get to know one another. We are currently planning several events for the coming months. Most are dinner themed events where we will visit a variety of the Twin Cities’ best restaurants.

Some will be “classroom” type events that allow the participants to freely discuss the many issues with dating. Examples of some of the topics include Dating After Divorce, Dating with Kids, Dating after 40, I’m Single Now What?, etc.

There are a couple of Wine Tasting events coming up in February. I plan to have a Singles Boat Cruise on the St Croix River again this spring. I have had these for the past three years and have usually had around 200 singles on each two hour cruise.

I live on the east side of the cities so in the beginning most events will be on the east side of the cities. Please send me your suggestions on events and what you would like from this group.

Group guidelines:
1) Please refrain from contacting others via email within the group until you have met them in-person. Most members are in Meetup because they want to meet people in “real life”.
2) When attending events, please be single and available to date.
3) I will keep track of “No-Shows”. No-Shows are disrespectful to the group and affect our future ability to secure quality venues.
4) Have fun at the events. If you do not enjoy an event PLEASE let me know.

My plan is not to profit from this group. Most events will only require you to pay for your food and drinks and nothing more. Any fees associated with events will be to pay for the venue. We are negotiating with venues to avoid any fees by ensuring a certain number of participants. This is another reason for making sure you show up for events.
