I am interested, but have work until 5:30 in the Heights, so I would need to come late. Or, if you know when the other Jan meeting is, I will request off. Thanks!

All - First apologies for being MIA for a few weeks. I won't bore you with excuses. Second, the Maker Faire team has outline the following activities that need volunteers for. It breaks down to :

    1. Spreading the word (see 1, 3 and 4 below)
    2. Recruiting sponsors(see 2 below). Thanks.

    1) Contact student organizations at campuses around Houston. Targets:
    b) U of H main campus
    d) HCC Stafford
    e) U of H Sugar Land
    f) Lone Star Sugar Land
    g) DeVry Sugar Land
    h) University of Phoenix Sugar Land
    i) Wharton JC Sugar Land 2) Contact additional high-interest sponsors. If you can think of strong sponsorship candidate businesses let me know. 3) Spread the word electronically. FB, Twitter, other ways to promote. 4) Place at least 250 posters in high-visibility (but legal!) locations. Starbucks, libraries, grocery stores, popular local businesses, craft stores, hobby stores, technology stores, etc. Let's get them posted by 12/21/2012
