UNICEF Human Trafficking Film Screening

On Thursday, November 15 at 6:30pm,The UNICEF Club at University of Houston is hosting a screening of Not My Life, a documentary about child trafficking. After the screening, there will be a panel of experts in the anti-human trafficking field who will share their work and engage the audience on ways to get involved in the community. The screening will be in the Kiva Room in Farish Hall at UH-Main Campus. For more information, please go here: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/4718831151.

I feel like this would be a great opportunity for us TED Shakers to learn about an issue that is affecting our community and have a conversation about how we as citizens can empower ourselves and others to take meaningful action. If you are available, please attend and bring friends and family as well!
