You. Me. Crave Cupcakes

I hope that everyone is enjoying the FANTASTIC Houston weather this afternoon. Do you know what happens when you have two people that are similar in personality and drive come together to brainstorm on ideas that could revolutionize the world - pretty much nothing. Whenever I meet up with my friend Mike we will talk for hours on end about ideas ranging from environmental issues, to social issues, to techy stuff. Our conversations pretty much consists of phrases such as, "You're a genius", "What if we do this?", "You're an idiot!", "and "It sounded like a good plan at the time". So yesterday's lunch date was no different, we got so excited talking about biotechnology and creating the next big thing, that by the time we were finished we had committed to four ideas that had absolutely nothing to do with one another - kind of like that hamster running in that circle thingy. BUT____ It. Was. So. Much. Fun.

So as we approach the weekend, here are two TED videos on ideas that are just plain cool. Stupid ideas will sometimes foster great ideas, we just have to come up with ideas and never stop.  Enjoy the rest of the week, and just to remind everyone our Second Sunday meeting is this Sunday 3PM at the Houstonian with speakers: Dr. Khan and Josh Cincinnati. See you all there.
