Loved Amanda Palmers' TED talk!  Very inspiring and great reminder to live in the present and be thankful.

Another Second Sunday bites the dust...

Thank you all that were able to show up this afternoon and enjoy the talk that both Dr. Rangarjadan and Tim gave - I know some of you didn't want them to leave! I'm still in the hunt for the speakers for our next event, but here's a little hint: a helicopter and a hospital is involved.

On to the TED video... I loved Amanda Palmer's TED video on "The Art of Asking". I'm sure there are extreme opinions on free music and online sharing; however, she makes lots of great points. I can see both sides of the fence (and may or may not have been involved with online pirating), but make your own judgment after you watch Rick Falvinge's "I am a Pirate" talk - I mean, everyone needs to shake, rattle, and spice up their life up a bit...right?

Regards,

JC

p.s. See ya'll at Hawkings!
