The Totally Unconventional Business Book Club (no reading required!)

The book club for professionals who don’t have a heck of a lot of time to read, but love to learn and get new perspectives. Here’s what makes this book club different: rather than everyone reading the same book and then getting together to discuss it, one person reads a book and presents a summary to the group, then we have an open discussion on the topic. So there’s some reading involved, but only if you’ve read a book, found it worthy of summarizing for the group, and volunteer to do so. Our general category of book for this club is Business, but we mean that in the broadest sense of the word.

Our May meeting will feature How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie and will be presented by Ryan Legits.

Bring your own lunch (drinks are provided by Convivium) and your computer (everyone is invited to stay and cowork after the event). Event is free and guests are welcome.

This really sounds like fun - but I live in Santa Fe! It would be great if any people who also got this message, and live in Santa Fe, wanted to gather for a similar discussion group!

Good job, Ryan. If you were nervous, it didn't show!

Thank you for saying so, Jay! I can definitely use some improvement; but that's what today was for! Thanks for your support today!

I would be interested in presenting the book Tribal Leadership by Dave Logan et al.

You are welcome to contact Renee, but she's planning on contacting you! Thanks again Salley!
