National Hispanic Cultural Center (map)

A message from Bioneers about this event:
With encouragement from our great community partners, the National Hispanic Cultural Center and the Open Space Alliance, we're ready to launch our 2012 efforts and bring an even better, locally-based Bioneers conference to Albuquerque this year.
We'll kick things off at the NHCC on Tuesday, January 31st, at 7pm with a FREE screening of Journey of the Universe, the Brian Swimme and Mary Evelyn Tucker film about the cosmos. Equal parts science and spirituality, the film explores human consciousness and our role in the universe.
Join us for the screening from 7-8pm, followed by a brief meeting to discuss what's next...
Many thanks to our friends at the Partnership for Earth Spirituality and NHCC, for providing the opportunity to screen this film.
I'll be wearing at TEDxABQ t-shirt to help identify me among the crowd. I'm not sure what to expect, crowd-wise. At larger events like this, inevitably, we have trouble finding everyone, so keep your eyes peeled for TEDxABQ logos! I hope to connect with as many of you as possible!
The NHCC website lists this event as 6:30 - 8:30, not 7 - 9 as listed in the meetup announcement. Which is correct?
Thanks for catching that, Maxine! I was going off of this announcement from Burque Bioneers (also in the event description above), which says 7 pm: http://bbabq.wordpress.com/2012/01/18/january-31-screenin...![]()
. Probably wouldn't hurt to show up at 6:30, though, just in case. I'll change it now!

Are we going to meet each other or just go in and sit whereever?
