TEDBooks - Half the Sky

Join us Wednesday, January 2nd, from 6:30-8:30 pm to discuss the book Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn.

As with our previous books, this was written by a TED Speaker. Sheryl WuDunn gave a riveting talk at TEDWomen in 2011. You can watch it here.

Bookworks has several copies on-hand, and offers discounts to book group attendees. Consider supporting this great local business!

A bit of news - This will be my last book group as a host. I may occasionally attend in the future as an attendee. If you'd like to see this group continue, please consider hosting it during a future month. Bookworks has been a great host, and would like to see the group continue. We meet first Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30, and group turn-out is strong.

I'd like to come but don't know about the transportation -- don't drive. Also may have a conflict. We will see! Thanks

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
