Leisa, I can try to get there for 8am but not sure the equipment will be up and running at that time as I made arrangements with someone to come in tomorrow to set it up for 9am. So far you are the only person who has confirmed an early AM attendance.

Just checked the streaming schedule and it will begin at 9 am Eastern time. Would it be possible to get started at 7:45 here in New Orleans to be able to view the entire session?

Chad, anyone on this meetup is welcome to invite a couple of people during the day but since it's during business hours we don't want it advertised as 'open to the pubic'. Everyone is also welcome to post an announcement of the screening for public viewing I just ask that you specify the doors to the public open at 5pm.

Yes, but we're trying to limit the turnout to about 30 or so due to the fact that we're holding it in our conference room, not the main space, since it will be during business hours. An RSVP is appreciated.

I'd like to take suggestions from the group on where they would like to meet for an after party. Pal's is three blocks from the Icehouse as are a few restaurants. Not sure where Capdaville is. What would everyone like to do?

Hello everyone, The Building Block at the Icehouse would be happy to host the live stream. I'm a bit confused about the time- Is it streaming at 9am as this site says? Gerard mentioned cocktails and that seems a bit early for me even by NOLA standards. ? Time is important because the number of people we can accomodate during business hours is less than afterhours. Please let me know.

Yes, the Icehouse is a huge space that would prove to be very adequate. For PechaKucha we had a turnout of about 500 and it was great. The Building Block manager, Linda, would be interested in hosting if you would like to contact her about it: [masked].

I work at the Icehouse and the manager is in today if you're still interested in the possibility. It's a great venue and worked well for PechaKucha Night presentations two weeks ago.

Gerard, I'd be happy to coordinate the Capdeville portion. Have a good relationship with them.

Social Media Club is interested in having a Happy Hour for the closing remarks at 6pm, followed by some Q&A/ open discussion on how online tools are being used and can continue to be used to spread the word. Anyone got a place with a projector that would be interested?
