Its seems likely that under a Shacklebolt administration, the Ministry would try to move towards a more democratic method of governance. Tying in with our own US election, we will discuss what issues would likely be the “issues of the day” for the wizarding world. After someone suggests an issue, we will have an open discussion on that issue and why citizens of Wizarding England should vote either way.
Some examples:
House Elf Rights
Statute of Secrecy Regulations
Trial techniques and reasonable doubt
We will need to devote some time to goblin rights - relations between the two races will be at an all-time low after that Gringotts incident, and we need to settle the question of whether to allow goblins wand rights. Otherwise we could be facing another bloody goblin rebellion.
