My fangirl love for Harry Potter inspired me to stop hiding the Gothic novels I'd been writing since age 12 and publish one. (Now several). Glad to be here since I'm really tired of going to HP Movie openings the only one of my friends in costume.
I'm a cross between Luna Lovegood and Severus Snape. If you meet me I hope you'll get it.
When curiosity about the hype overcame my disdain for the hype and I sat down to read. Best day ever.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Contains most Snape per page of all HP books.
Snape - I felt I understood him from the start. As a Gothic novelist, I write (and revel in) dark, brooding characters and I so was naturally and immediately drawn to him. He's the most interesting literary character of our epoch.
Slytherin. I'm ambitious as hell. But I'll "try and stay towards the light". Promise.

Welcome, Leanna. The location of our Tolkien Reading Day in March hasn't been finalized yet. We expect it to be at Books of Wonder. But, mum is the word for now. It will be announced on the Board as soon as it is firmed up. By the way, I'd love to get an opportunity to chat with you about your historical writing. It was my major in college.
