Introduction
Hello, I'm Mandy! I'm a proud Hufflepuff :) I have a pygmy owl... okay he's actually a parakeet, but I'd like to think he's an owl! My favorite wizard rock band is Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls, especially their song "Just a Hufflepuff" :)
Which character do you relate the most to?
Hmmm... I don't really know. I like Luna Lovegood in the books, not as much in the movies though. I also like Neville Longbottom.
How did you get to become a fan of HP?
I saw the first movie on TV, and I loved it. Then my friend introduced me to the second one, and of course, I loved it. I saw the third movie in theaters, and by then I was hooked. So, I read the 4th book first, followed by the 5th. I went to the midnight premier of the 6th book, but I didn't stay until midnight. I did, however, stay until midnight and beyond for the midnight premier of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2". It was awesome! I have read all the books from the 4th on, and someday I hope to go back and read the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, plus re-read the rest of the series. I love the movies, but I think the books are better - more detail. I like the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd movies, but I thought the 4th through the 6th were lacking. The 7th movie, part 1 and 2, was amazing! I'm sad to see the series end, but I think the legend will live on :)
What is your favorite book? Why?
My favorite book is "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". This may be because it was the first one I ever read, but I also really liked it because of the creativity. I loved the description of the Quidditch World Cup, and the omnioculars! :)
Who is your favorite character? Why?
My favorite character would probably have to be Hermione. Ever since I watched the first movie, I just fell in love with the character. She is awesome!
Which house are you a member of?
HUFFLEPUFF PRIDE!!!! :D

The first time I met The Group That Shall Not Be Named was at the New York Comic Con 2011. Everyone seemed very nice, and it was awesome to be around other people with the same interest. So I decided to join the group, and I am looking forward to future events! :)
