Aside from being an HP fan I love studying and making historic(and wizarding) costumes and I do vintage dancing (any era) and I'm an all around geek of many trades. I can't wait for Terminus!
I'm really into Percy right now. I can relate to how he feels isolated within his own family. I am also terribly stubborn, can have a really hard time admitting I was wrong about something and will avoid confrontation at almost any cost.
Back in college my friend's mum, gave us the first three books and said we must read them. I was hooked. I wasn't really active in fandom until last year when I finally admitted that I was an HP geek and found the amazing group of people here!
The answer changes everytime I'm asked this queston. Currently I have to say Book 3 because I started reading the books when the first 3 were already published but it was the 3rd one that I started to realize the complexities of the story.
I got a soft spot for Remus for reasons that too complicated to explain here, and for Percy for reasons listed below. I also love the evil mischief of Fred and George.
There's absolutely no question that I'm a Ravenclaw but I definitely have some Slytherin undercurrents in my personality.
A group of intelligent, witty, and above all, warm-hearted people brought together with a common sense of whimsy and a love of the fantastical. In other words, your average Harry Potter fans!
Hi Marchek! You're invited to try a Scottish Country Dancing Meet-up Group! The music is beautiful, no experience is needed to start, everyone is friendly, and you'll meet your partners on the dance floor. Our teachers will teach you everything you need to know to have fun and make new friends! Check out our Meetup Sites, Scotia Scottish Country Dancers Meetup Group and the New York Scottish Country Dancing Meetup Group!

It was great to meet you the other night. Thanks again for all the knitting help!!!
Marci, I think now that the weather is nicer... we should go do a photoshoot. I've never done one...and I think it would be great fun! :) that's all :)
Thanks, Marci. In the words of Stacy, "SQUEEEE!!!
Really, it was NO biggie. I had a fantastic afternoon! Seriously, you organizers do SO MUCH MORE- CONSTANTLY! Taking a few food orders is nothing. Plus, it gave Santina and I some time to 'bond' a bit! Please don't think on it. BTW, the hunt was really fun... AND, we cleared out Gringotts to boot! Fantastic meetup, as usual. xo
Thanks, Marci. I'm so excited!!!
Hey Marci! First off, thanks for making those fantastic Quidditch sashes- they fantastic! Secondly, I recieved my House vest from Hobbies and I love it :) It really is very nice!
Marci! You must let me know about the dancing meetups!
I love the 'Weatherby' costume idea! I agree that the Weasley home was probably tough sometimes while growing up (except for maybe the twins!), so I get what you mean. You're still way. WAY cooler that Percy -though it's sweet of you to give him so much empathy ; ps- I love pinstripes.
