Hello Everyone,

Have you ever been to a Native American PowWow and Festival? Well nows your chance! There will be: Native American food, live music (drumming), dance, costumes, story telling, arts & crafts, and more!

This is one of my favorite events that I attend every year. The Redhawk Native American Arts Council hosts four of the largest Native American Pow Wows in New York and New Jersey.

The Festival Runs: Saturday 11am – 8pm & Sunday 11am – 7pm
Grand Entry of Dancers at 1pm and 4pm both days

Price:
$14 Adults & Teens
$8 Children 6-12 years old & Seniors 65+
Free for Children 5 years old and under.
$8 Parking per vehicle

*Tickets may be purchased at the gate or online.  If you'd like to avoid a long line at the gate, you may purchase your admission tickets online at: http://redhawkbm.eventbrite.com (online purchase fee applies)*
Please note: Redhawk Pow Wows are Rain or Shine outdoor events. Therefore no refunds will be given.

Bus Info from NYC: There will be one special shuttle bus service provided by Jaha International each day from two locations in NYC: For more info., go to: http://redhawkcouncil.org/powwows/
Bus tickets may only be purchased online at http://redhawkbm.eventbrite.com

  • Limited seating available so you’re welcome to bring your own chairs, blankets and/or umbrellas.
  • No alcohol or drugs, no outside food, drinks, ice or coolers will be allowed on the premises.
  • I highly recommend wearing sunscreen, a hat &/or sunglasses. We'll be in an open field. Also, they're predicting a 50% chance of a brief thunderstorm around 2pm so please bring an umbrella, rain jacket or poncho "just in-case"

*We'll meet at 12pm, inside by the gate entrance after you purchase your ticket. I'll be wearing an olive green cap and holding a sign with the name of our group on it. Please allow yourself at least an extra 15-20min. for parking and getting in line for your ticket.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
Melanie

    Hello Everyone,

I'm looking forward to meeting up with you tomorrow at the Pow-wow :-) I updated the details with just a couple things:

My phone unfortunately, is temperately out of service so you won't be able to reach me in-case you need to.
•I'll be wearing an olive green cap, holding a sign with the name of our group on it "The Community of Healing", standing inside by the gate entrance. I'll be there till at least 12:20pm in-case you're running a little behind, but please allow yourself extra time for parking and purchasing your ticket.
•They're predicting a 50% chance of a brief thunderstorm around 2pm so please bring an umbrella, rain jacket or poncho "just in-case".

    See you tomorrow!
