Kevin Sandbloom is regarded in songwriter circles as an artist who operates at them top of his game. He has performed on stages from the Nuyorican Poets cafe in New York, to B.B. King’s Blues Club in Los Angeles and is a fixture at music and poetry venues across the U.S. For the last five years he has been producing music at a furious pace. 4 full-length albums and an Ep under his belt, he is currently touring and promoting his latest effort, the acoustically driven “Mad Love Activate”. Sandbloom, the name he regularly performs under because he says it’s easier to remember, was recently featured on the ABC Family series “Lincoln Heights”, and also has credits on the Laurence Fishburne film “Once In The Life”. He was also payed the honor of having one of his songs used by guitar legend Robben Ford on his album, “Supernatural”. It ended up being chosen as the title track. During the sessions for the same record he got to meet and perform with Vinny Caliutta, Jimmy Earl and singer Michael McDonald.

SABRINA GILBERT BIO

Upcoming actress and poet Sabrina Gilbert has performed at college conferences, venues and theaters along the east coast and in the Midwest. She continues to push the envelope in her work as she allows her writing to consta...

"Sabrina Gilbert brings a refreshing difference to Balitmore's sometimes flat poetry scene. Her poetry is unmistakably intentional but undeniably original!"

— Fred Keene, Mic Life Magazine
Sabrina Gilbert is no stranger to performance, as the second of five children she always found herself seeking a means of self expression which lead her to the stage. Unbeknownst to her at the time she had begun what would become her life’s work. Skilled in many art forms, she found herself in everything from dance troupes to theater competitions. Ironically, it would not be until much later in life when she would begin performing her poetry.
During the second year of her studies in the BFA program of VCU she was encouraged by her best friend to perform her poetry at an open mic event. Nervous, and unsure Sabrina took the stage and shared her vulnerability publically for the first time. Quickly finding herself addicted to the healing that spoken word had given to her she began to perform at any and every open mic event that took place in city of Richmond. She even helped with the birth of a new open mic event that still takes place in the city today known as Lyric Ave. It was here that she acquired a taste for lyricism which spun her into the study of language; Sabrina would spend her weekends devouring books from writers such as Pablo Neruda, Susan Lori – Parks, and Amiri Baraka to name a few.
Upon completion of the BFA program Sabrina moved to Baltimore to begin her career where she resided for three years. She has recently relocated to Brooklyn, NY in efforts to continue to challenge herself as an artist. Over the last year she’s featured at several venues and College Conferences on the east coast, become the first female Grand Slam Champion of Slam Richmond 2008 team, taken listeners by storm with her debut album ‘Come Get Me’ and is currently working on her sophomore album entitled “Sticky”. She is also continuing her work as an actress; some acting Credits include “Breath, Boom”, “Colored Girls…” , “Cry Wolf” and many other theatrical and independent film productions. This is one artist to keep your eyes and ears on; as she will charm, amaze and melt your heart with her breathtaking performances leaving you in a state of lyrical ecstasy..
