Bakewell (Haddon Hall) - 5 miles walk

Bakewell (Haddon Hall) - 5 miles walk

The walk is approximately 5.27 miles and should be relatively easy.
Meeting at 10:45, the walk starts at 11:00.
Please note in case of (heavy) rain the walk will be moved to another date, I will keep you informed the day before the walk by email.

We will meet at the cark park on Coombs Rd (near Station Rd). Pay and display so bring some change if you want to park there.
Featuring : Village, Woodland, River,Haddon Hall.
Depending how long we are taking for the first part of the walk, we could change the walk slightly to go nearer Haddon Hall if there are some interesting views.
There should be plenty of photographic opportunities.

It should be a fairly easy walk (elevation =370.08 feet at the lowest point and[masked] at the highest point).

See green arrow.

Also please note I have never been to the selected locations. I just decide from a map and then create the walk.

Just to confirm that the walk is still on for tomorrow but be aware that we might get some heavy rain so bring some waterproofs !

Good walk and good company and thanks for the weather. Just a couple of hundred photos to sort now should be at least 10 good ones.

Sounds like an enjoyable opportunity, I'll sign up later in the week if my camera is returned to me by the friend who borrowed it.

    Hi All!

Would have loved to come, but tis the weekend before our hols, and I have to get my feet done in prep for all the walking to do whilst there!

Did anyone see the Dambusters Fly-past at Derwent?Chatsworth on Thursday? Hubby went and got some brill photos of the planes, but said it was crammed full in derbyshire with traffic.

Will see if I can make it to the next local walk. 5 miles is about the most I can do nowadays as done my cartilage in me knee! (dropping to bits as I type...)

not a problem, I hope you will have a nice holiday ! 5 miles is the maximum I am going to do as it normally takes us at least 4 hours to do (stopping everywhere for photos).

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
