Design for User Decision-Making
Workshop with Colleen Roller
A prospective customer is perusing your website, comparing the products and services you offer. You designed the site to make it easy to buy. But did you design the site to make it easy to choose?
Decisions lead to actions, and user actions drive the bottom line.
The design of sites and apps has a critical impact on how people decide. Join Colleen Roller as she explains user decision-making and how to apply this understanding to designing more effective sites and apps, including:
- Why it’s important to design for user decision making
- How the goal of decision making affects people’s decision process and decision outcomes
- What sways decision making one way or another, and why
