Happy Holidays to you and your family, and thank you for all that you do!
Since you ask for feedback, here is mine.
First of all, I did not RSVP for Paul Nison. Here is why: I am not interested in any religious interpretation or interjection of religion in this meetup (I believe a heading I saw was something like “Health According to the Scriptures”, which suggests that there may be reference to biblical stuff). Not for me, thanks. I am happy with my own spiritual practice, and I am not really interested in anyone else’s theology. I am sure Paul is knowledgeable and has much to share about healthy lifestyle, but this was a big negative for me personally.
Secondly, I am not a big fan of turning the meetup into a lecture series. When Agnes and I joined, our primary motivation was to meet other people who lead healthy lives, and to share a raw potluck with others who enjoy making raw foods part of their life. We very much enjoyed these get-togethers. However, it seems there are very few of these anymore. Formalizing the group to the extent that it has become has removed the original attraction for us. We miss the leisurely potlucks at Unity of Bonita.
For what it’s worth, that is my two cents.
Love and Peace,
Happy Holidays and Love to all...Question for yall..
What kinds of meetings, meetups, lectures, etc are
each of you interested in??
It occurred to me tonite, when 21 of the RSVP's did not
show for the Paul Nison lecture, perhaps I am not on target
with what the group is seeking..
If you feel so inclined, I would love to hear from you..
Peace Love Joy and Health...
