Introduction

I like science, a lot. And gardening, and a whole lot more. I joined TIP because it gave me the chance to pursue my interests and build my community's resilience/independence, which is really important to me.

Our goal is to provide a framework for creating even more connections between those already working toward a resilient Greater Portland Area. Then, our goals that once seemed different can join in new and unique ways. At the same time, we work to raise Portland's awareness of Peak Oil, Climate Change and TIP as a potential solution. If you are working to rebuild our local resilience in any way, please join us and let us work together toward a common goal.
