Vinyasa Flow Style Yoga, Most Intense Yoga, IMO

Hello fellow hikers,

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE WRITE UP DESCRIPTION BEFORE RSVP'ing

So let me start by saying I do not mean to irritate anyone regarding Yoga.  I have been researching and attending Yoga throughout the East Valley over the last several months.  I have discovered that Yoga has certainly reached out to several different lifestyles and cultures from what I had originally thought.  For me personally I somewhat find Yoga a little boring, but I have found this Vinyasa Flow Style Yoga that is way different, again in my opinion.   It is a crazy workout that will kick you rear end.  It brings cardio and strength to the Yoga platform, along with contemporary music that is played.

So we will need to meet at 11:30am.  If you arrive late please note that you may not be able to get in.  It is highly important for you to arrive on time for this event.  Please, if you are unsure if you can attend, then please do not RSVP.  Since their is limited space, it would not be fair for you take a spot if you are going to cancel the night before or the day of, or do a No Show.  We understand that life can throw surprises, but we just want you know that there is limited space and we don't want to hinder a fellow hiker that would love to attend but finds themselves no availability.

Please know this is rated ADVANCED and DIFFICULT.  If you are one of those that have done some Super Hikes like Ridgeline or Rim 2 Rim or a Ultra marathoner or Iron Manner, than this is one of those workouts that you need to place on your bucket list, as this will test you.  You may find if difficult to just stay in the room the entire time, let alone the workout, and it is frowned upon to leave the room as per Yoga ethics.

This will be a 1 Hour and 20 minutes of extreme heat around 117 - 122 degrees.

Please bring Exact Cash to speed up the check in process.  Yes, they take VISA's, but since we are going to flood their business this day, they will need our help to keep the process moving.

It is $17.00 for a Drop in one time class or $20.00 for an unlimited 2 week membership.

Do NOT eat lunch before you come, or you will vomit it up.  Eat several hours before.

You will need a Yoga mat.  If you do not have one, you will need to rent one, which I wouldn't do personally.  You will need to bring a sweat towel and a longer bath towel to place over the yoga mat.  You will need a water bottle or two.  Men, you should wear either tighty whities under neath the shorts or compression shorts under the normal shorts.  And again, bring exact Cash.  Also, bring a change of clothes as the clothes you wore in will be drenched.

If you are not at least in decent shape, you should not attend this.  No, you don't need to be Superman, I just mean decent shape. Some of you already know all of this, however there are some who have never attempted Yoga or this style of Yoga.

The class will begin at 12Noon.  So you may ask why do I have to be there at 11:30am?  Well, if we are going to squeeze a large group into that room, it was Highly suggested by the Studio for us to arrive  30 minutes ahead of time since it is a first come first serve basis, and seeing I may have some who have never done it before, they may need some extra direction.  Again, if you are fashionably late, you may not get in.  Be there at 11:30am.  Sorry if this seems a little late in the day...... it is what it is.

Also, for the record, NO, I do NOT claim to be a Yoga expert.  There are many other hikers in our Group who know way more than I do about Yoga and some may have a different opinion as to what form is harder or better, etc, etc.  Some of my verbiage may be off and I realize that.  Again, I mean no disrespect.  I hope that our Yoga experts who are in the Group would attend to help those who are not.  I just personally found this form to kick my rear end, and I wish to share this experience with my fellow fitness freaks........lol.

Come prepared to get worked over.......... This is no joke.

AMAZING! What a workout, as promised. It has to be the most intense yoga workout that one can find. If you want to be pushed to the limit of your cardio, then this is the pace to be.

Hi Kirk, at Sumits we keep the heat in the low hundreds ~around 102 degrees + or-. The teachers are taught to gauge the heat of the room based on the energy of the students. It is a very fun class, hope to see your there!! Any other questions...let me know:)
