62nd Hike with the Club:

This Intriguing Loop hike incorporates several trails into 1 hike.  This 5.5 Mile (Approximately) is classified as a Moderate level hike and we will be hiking on some not so popular trails of South Mountain.  So that is refreshing...... learning new trails.  We will be keeping a decent pace as to get a good workout.  We will need to wait for everyone at every turn off so you do not get lost, so you will be expected to keep a decent pace...... no you don't have to be superman and you don't have to run it, but we do ask that you keep a good pace.

Come join us for a not so normal South Mountain Adventure.

I have been doing a lot of South Mountain hikes that are off trail or unnamed trails, as to take full advantage of this enormous park in our City.

I will be running several more through the Winter.

Another new Trail today. Blazing Canyon Drop was an awesome joy ride. I loved that trail, where we dropped back in from the top.

FYI: In case anyone is wondering, if it rains, I do NOT cancel the hike. If it is cold and it rains, I do NOT cancel the hike. I am not a fair weather hiker. The only way I would ever cancel would be for a torrential down pour with lightning. Just in case you ever wonder as we get closer to winter time.

Anyone want to carpool from East Valley...I really don't want to drive. I'll kick in for gas. It's over an hour from QC.

Could anyone provide information about where exactly I should park and meet with others? I have a history (only 28 years) of getting miserably lost....

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
