Tough Mudder - Team Style, The Mother Ship of all Mud Races!

Yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo

76th Hike of the Club, Kind of. Hey You...... yeah you........... do you have what it takes? I am not sure myself, but I am going after it. I am going to give it all I got. I know it's going to kick my rear, but who cares. You only live once. This has to be one of those once in a lifetime events.........as far as trying to get your hiking friends to Team up with you.....the people who you have done some crazy stuff with in the last 2 years.

Welcome to Tough Mudder!

12 miles of obstacle course. Obstacles that make Warrior Dash look like Kindercare.

Here is what you have to do. Yes, you should RSVP here, but really counts is you have to register here: http://toughmudder.com/events/arizona-2013/

For Saturday.

So, "click participants register now". Then click on create a Saturday Team or Join a Team. We encourage you to email and talk on the discussion boards with who you wish to Team Up with. Preferably someone you are in the same pace group with as you need to stick together as a Team throughout. I have already formed a Team and it is super easy. Teams of 2 or 4 or 10, etc ,etc, etc... it doesn't matter. I have decided to keep my Group at a maximum of 6 for now. One Team can merge with another Team later on and you can switch registrations, etc, etc. So the most important thing is to get Registered and make a Team. If you don't make a Team, you have to be invited to Join another Team or given the Team Password. I have called my Team, TLC One.

You only live life once and even if you just do this race just to finish, then that's awesome. This is a controlled environment where you can take as long as your Team allows you to take.

Let's have a blast of a day. Let's work on our Team skills and let's have TLC make several Teams. I know of 5-6 woman who are phenomenal athletes that should be forming a Team right now.

"Get off my wall, Pile" What movie was that from? Same as "Let me see your War Face". "That ain't a War Face". "Now let me see a War Face".

You know me and my movie quotes.......lol........

Tough Mudder Results: An incredible fun day spent with some really cool people. I really feel lucky to have experienced this Challenge with such great friends who also like to experience life, break barriers, push themselves, step out of the comfort zone and who take hiking to a different level. This course is argued to be at 11, 11.5, 12, 12.5 miles. Personally I think it was slightly under 12 miles, say 11.8. 28 Obstacles, including 2 Electric Shock therapy obstacles. Anyhow, Armenta Rene and I finished this awesome punishment at 2:22. We did incredibly well as a Group and I think everyone crossed in 3:00. That tells you how fit and in shape our Groups were. I tip my hat to my fellow Mudders today: Rene Armenta, Neal Mestas, Stacy Boyd, Jennifer Gardner, Brian Mildener, Tom Jordan, Mark Nickel, Brian Koehn, Anna Potapov Esckelson, Brooke Richards, Mary Wheeler, Yazmin Rivera. Thank you to Carlos Luis Pinzon and Jim Mowbery for coming today and taking pictures and recording videos.

FYI, Caution, once you get that Fitness/Adventure bug, it becomes addicting and you want more and more. It's funny. Anyhow, thanks to everyone who came out today and supported us. Today is a day that will be etched in memory, along with the Electric Eel Obstacle. Thanks for being part of a special day.

Oh, I almost forgot Johnny Volkman. Johnny, as crazy as he is, signs up this morning. We did not know he was gonna go, and apparently he didn't either, until this morning. So I tip my hat to Johnny as well for taking this on.

    1. 9:20am Wave Time

    2. Be there at 8am.

    3. Give time for parking, retrieving bib, bathroom, etc, etc.

    4. Thinking about car pooling from East Valley location close to the TM event as to save money and headaches on parking. 4 in a car, parking is free. Will send out info later this week when I find the location. Mark is staying at hotel in East Valley, we will meet in that parking lot.

    5. Do you have your Red Long Sleeve Compression Shirt yet? If not, please get one, or at least where a red shirt.

    6. If you have a person you are bringing as a spectator, they must sign up BEFORE Friday, and it is $20.00 for a Spectator.

    7. Do we have someone that we know that will be there as a Spectator as to hold our cell phones, wallets, stuff like that?

    8. Take your cell phones, and then we can coordinate once we are in the gates and retrieving our bibs.

    9. Please make sure we all have each others cell phone #'s. Please list it now. Mine is[masked]
