Group meditation and discussion

Looking forward to re-starting this group.  Sorry for the long delay between meetings!

We will get together to discuss consciousness exploration and do 2 hemi-sync guided exercises.

1. Please bring headphones

2. Parking is free in front of the library but limited.  Use the El if you can.

3. Make every attempt to be on time

If you are new to hemi-sync or the Monroe Institute, PLEASE email me so I can get you orientated prior to the meetup.

    Great Meditations

It was good to see old and new friends. I'm sorry I had to leave so quickly at the end of the meditation on Timelessness. The irony: I was going to be LATE for a Brazilian Samba practice where we play with time breaking time down into little syncopated bits. The paradoxical nature of the stress of TIME vs the serenity of TIMELESSNES has been on my mind ever since.

Hi Mark, this meeting is free and here is a summary of an email Scott sent today:For those of you new to the Monroe Institute, you have some "homework".

    1. Go to http://monroeinstitute.org and read up a bit on the institute.

    2. Look at a few quick links from my site on binaural beat meditation, at http://themeditationmind.com/binaural-beats/ (and the links on the right at that page).

    3. It helps our discussions when everyone is familiar with the focus levels of perception as defined by Robert Monroe. Check out this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_level

We'll be listening to 1 or 2 Monroe Institute or Monroe Product mp3s together. This generally involves sitting in a chair, or on the floor, or lying down. You might want to bring a mat or blanket, although it is definitely not necessary.

    I hope this helps you.
