This is a private group, restricted to ACTIVE organizers, co-organizers and assistant organizers of Meetup groups in Toronto and surrounding areas. "Active" means that either:
(i) Your Meetup Group has had at least one event in the last 30 days and has one scheduled in the next 30 days
(ii) You are the organizer/co-organizer/assistant organizer of a Meetup group that is new and has been started within the last 60 days.
The aim of this group is to provide those who run active Meetup groups with a place where they can meet and exchange ideas, express their concerns and ask for solutions from others who have already dealt with identical issues and perhaps have already come up with creative solutions.
We will meet approximately once every 6-8 months in a casual setting and discuss topics that are common to all of us like coping with and sharing information about problematic members, dealing with "no-shows", promoting our groups, getting ideas from others for suitable venues for our future events, issues surrounding prepayment and collection of event fees, contractual issues with venues, issues with the Meetup site software and any other concerns that organizers want to raise.
