Cut my proverbial teeth on the Apple II, and then was forced to go to PC by spouse who kept telling me how much cheaper PCs were--yeah, but then you spend half your time rebooting when they freeze and have to have them cleaned up when viruses attacked!! Next Mac was a Power Mac; then, a few years later to the modern-looking triangular shaped iMac--the smoke gray one with the first writing drive. Then went totally modern with the flat-screened model which sat upon the half-cup with the tongue that stuck out to receive CDs and DVDs. Traded in the cheap husband for my Mac Book Pro and have never regretted it--only regret is that now the Mac Book Pro is so old that I can no longer get Apple Care for it.
Maybe updates and how to's for the Lion OS. I keep meaning to take the classes...just never seem to have the time. Freeware that is available for OSX and reliable and easy to use. Maybe not even free stuff, but things that do not cost an arm and a leg..........alternatives available to those. How to access my files on the iPad from my computer and what software I need to have installed for that
iPhone, iPad, iPod, iCloud
LOVE my Mac--would probably give up using computers altogether if I had to go to a PC. OK, not quite true, but thank goodness I don't have to make that decision.
Helpful bunch and great about sharing findings with everyone.
